Candi & Josh...Married in the French Quarter!

Danielle Walters Photography was thrilled to be a part of Candi & Josh Behlar's wedding on March 10, 2012 in New Orleans, LA.  They were married in the courtyard of Oceana Grill followed by a lively Second Line parade through the French Quarter and a reception in the Jean Laffite room upstairs.

The wedding ceremony was filled with laughter and tears of joy and emotion.  The attendants wore Candi's chosen accent color of royal blue and the couple's dogs served as ring bearer/flower girl. :)  Rev. Tony Talavera of The French Quarter Wedding Chapel officiated.

The Second Line parade was led by the New Orleans Police Department and a jazz band through the French Quarter.  The Bride and Bridesmaids carried custom made parasols while the Groom and Groomsmen carried custom made canes.  The guests waved white handkerchiefs with the couple's names and wedding date embroidered on them.  All participants carried royal blue beads to pass out to well-wishers along the route.

The majority of decorations at the reception site were handmade by the Bride's mother and continued the royal blue theme.  Guests were treated to delicious fare from Oceana Grill as well as a candy buffet, personalized Hubig's pies and wedding cakes.  Following dinner, the couple and their guests danced the night away and showed off their silliness in the photo booth.
